Welcome to Bettergo!  My name is Kim Ngoc and I am a relocation professional.  My motivation to become a Mobility Mentor is to help people with compassion and my experience.  Relocating to a new place can be stressful, especially when you are relocating with family.  Each family has its unique challenges.

I have over 30 years experience in international moving and over 15 years in relocation.  I am married with a Dutch husband and 2 sons age 17 and 8.  I was born in Saigon and moved myself over 18 times both locally and internationally.  I had been through depression from the first time that we had to move from Saigon to Hanoi.  I thought it was just within Vietnam and my company had office there so working should help me to integrate well.  No, I had “culture shock” in my own country – big time!  My first son was only 3 years old at that time and changing from French to English, then we moved back to Saigon when he was 6 years old and he went back to French school.

I am grateful to the people who helped me through my relocations, from finding new homes, opening bank account, understanding the local practice and culture, connecting with clubs and associations, getting help with special needs …..  Therefore, I wish to support you with my experience and local knowledge to help your relocation as positive as possible.

Besides work, I love spending time with my family, be in the nature, hiking, golfing, horse riding, cooking and gardening.
